Jon Philipson is selected for University of Tampa Board of Fellows

The University of Tampa Board of Fellows is comprised of distinguished men and women who are successful business and community leaders.

Thomas & LoCicero is pleased to announce that Jon M. Philipson has been selected to join the University of Tampa Board of Fellows. Mr. Philipson is an attorney serving in the firm’s Tampa office, with a practice in commercial litigation, media law, and intellectual property.  

Established in 1971, the Board of Fellows primary focus is to serve as “goodwill ambassadors” for The University of Tampa by increasing visibility and strengthening ties within the Tampa Bay business community. The Board is comprised of distinguished men and women who are successful business and community leaders.

Mr. Philipson represents and advises clients in business litigation matters, as well as, defamation, First Amendment, antitrust, and intellectual property disputes.  He regularly serves as local counsel for businesses sued or pursuing claims in all federal courts in Florida.  Mr. Philipson has assisted clients in a wide range of industries and areas, including traditional business contract disputes, shopping center development disputes, multimillion-dollar insurance coverage disputes, Florida derivative suits, and product labeling class actions.
